Our Mission

The Southern Cameroons Interim Government-in-Exile (IG) is dedicated to the liberation of the people of the Southern Cameroons from the brutal colonial control of France masquerading as La Republique du Cameroun. After more than a century of colonization and the failure of Great Britain and the United Nations (UN) to perform their sacred duty and obligation of guiding the people of the Southern Cameroons to “self-government and/or independence," the IG is resolved to return to Southern Cameroonians their humanity and their God given right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

The IG welcomes any efforts from Great Britain, the UN and the African Union (AU). As a matter of fact, we welcome any other entity in the world as a part of our general invitation to humanity to become part of our solution. The restoration of our humanity as enunciated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is not negotiable. In this pursuit, the actions of any foreign countries or organizations accepting our invitation, shall not stop or limit our right to continued resistance by any means necessary to the brutal occupation of our land by an enemy whose considerable ability to resist common sense has been demonstrated.

We therefore pledge ourselves and our resources, to actively defend the people of the Southern Cameroons from the dehumanization of colonialism and the brutality of alien rule. We will do this in the spirit of Chief Kuva Likenye, the illustrious son and gatekeeper of our Atlantic coast, who fought with courage and determination alien invasion and occupation of the Southern Cameroons. Like Chief Kuva who was never deterred by the size and strength of the invading enemy, we are resolved to be the owners of the land in which God carefully picked
to make it ours forever; and so shall it be.
